KIRKWOOD HOSPICE CAPITAL APPEAL EXCLUSIVE GOLF DAY

On August 23rd I had the pleasure of providing event photography for Kirkwood Hospice in Huddersfield. An exclusive golf day was held at Meltham Golf Club to raise money for the Capital Appeal for Kirkwood the hospice for Kirklees.

Teams from local businesses including R Gledhill Ltd, Bramleys, Myers Group, Riasca and Armitage Sykes, all donned their clubs ready for a round of golf. Photographs were available throughout the day with the aid of onsite printing facilities and the photos really captured the fun had by all on this important fund raising event. Thanks go to Meltham Golf Club for hosting the event.

For 25 years Kirkwood Hospice has provided specialist care for the people of Kirklees. Now with this appeal the Hospice hopes to provide care for the next 25 years and beyond. They have developed a plan to refurbish the in-patient unit to ensure they meet the needs of patients and families today. This work is vital so the Kirkwood Hospice needs as much help as possible to raise an extra £3m over the coming year to cover cost of the building work, this in addition to their £4.75m annual running costs. If anyone would like more information about the appeal or how you could work with the Hospice please visit www.capitalappeal.org
